Transportation is exactly that, the transporting of a client from one location to another. Anyone, regardless of age, may schedule a ride. Rides are provided for medical and dental appointments, education and employment, congregate meal sites, grocery and essential shopping, legal appointments, and visits to nursing home residents. Many necessary and needed medical services are outside the Region, making travel to the metro area necessary. This service is provided through the Outback Express public transit system. There is a fee for this service.
