Outreach is sometimes known as ‘Client Finding’. This service is usually initiated by a provider to identify new clients and encourage the use of existing services and benefits. This can be accomplished on a one-to-one basis or by the use of flyers, brochures, pamphlets, newsletters, or speaking engagements. In Region 5 (the counties of Cheyenne, Elbert, Kit Carson and Lincoln), this is provided directly by the Area Agency on Aging though a system of senior services coordinators located in each county.
